On Sunday 23rd June, members of Ubique and HMS Loire gathered at Fort Nelson to fire Napoleonic cannon.
The Garde Imperiale detachment from HMS Loire fired the bronze French 6 pounder which was captured at Waterloo, and was to be seen up until the 1950’s outside Aspley House, home to the Duke of Wellington after Waterloo.
Ubique Right of the Line fired the bronze 6 pounder typical of the Royal Horse Artillery.

A special mention to Phil Spaven for the loan of his white bag to hide a rather serious wardrobe malfunction!
