The White Horse Show
August 14 - August 16

After the great success of last years show, we are doing it again!
The Immersive Living History Festival is created using recycled film sets and scenery.
These are re purposed into new sets which then re enactors inhabit and bring the show to life.
It is like time traveling into different periods.
Starting with our American frontier town with its own Saloon complete with saloon girls, while outside you will see the cowboys riding around with the occasional shoot out.
Travel onto the WW1 trench system where you can speak with the soldiers in the trenches and get a feel of what it was like, and meet the War Horses.
Tem move onto the 1940s with its own farm and town square that includes shops, houses, cinema and tea rooms, and a music venue.
There is also a Normandy section with a French Café.
Go onto North Africa where a replica of El Alamein railway station is built and hosts Britain’s Desert Rats and Germany’s Afrika Korps.
Onto the Vietnam section with all the GI’s in their camp looking out of the watch tower.
Finally end up in the end of last century with the Cold War with the Berlin wall, and then the Gulf war with British and American re-enactors.
Finish off with modern and current kit from this Century.
There are visiting Helicopters such as the Lynx and Sea King.
See and experience the Tank Rides!
This has grown massively over the last three years as one eccentric mans dream to build an immersive historical world has so far gained the attention of over 1000 re enactors who also thought this project of the mad English man was a good idea!
The Stats: Over 70 tons of scenery used. Covers 52 acres. over 1200 re enactors. 3 music venues. Privately funded and is only £15 per adult to enter under 18 free if with adult.
